Collings Foundation acquired an OT/810 Half-track
Fresh from restoration, this metal beast will debut at "Battle for the Airfield" reenactment October 9th and 10th.

The post war Czech OT-810 halftrack is sibling to the German WWII SdKfz 251 halftrack. The original SdKfz 251 half-track was an armored fighting vehicle designed and first built by Nazi Germany Hanomag company during World War II. The largest, most common, and best armored of the wartime half-tracks, the Sd.Kfz. 251 was designed to transport the panzergrenadiers of the German mechanized infantry corps into battle. Widely known simply as "Hanomags" by both German and Allied forces, they were widely produced throughout the war. The Czech OT/810 was a designed in early fifties in Tatra Kopøivnice and produced until 1963. Approximately 2,400 OT-810s were built and used by the Czech armed forces well into the 1980s. The Foundation's OT/810 has been restored and repainted in a standard German mechanized infantry paint scheme. There is a possibility we will be offering rides in this half-track over the weekend of the "Battle for the Airfield". Check our website for most up to date information.

F-4 Phantom II and A-4 Skyhawk Flight Experiences
Now accepting reservations.

Just imagine what it is like to feel over 35,000 pounds of thrust from two GE J79 jet engines in full afterburner....the second the breaks are released. Ever wonder why A-4 fighter pilots tended to have such large jaw muscles? The Foundation is now offering, for the first time ever, flight experiences to members of the public. This once in a lifetime opportunity allows both pilots and non-pilots to experience the most important jet fighters of the Vietnam/Cold War era from the best possible perspective – in the cockpit of these legendary aircraft!
Now accepting reservations starting in October. For more information, including cost and details click here for PDF download. Please call us at 800-568-8924 or email hchaney@collingsfoundation.org if you are interested in receiving an info pack and media disk with more information.
