Auto Collection


The Collings Foundation has some of the most important pre-war American classic cars and historically significant racecars in the world. All are housed at our Stow, Ma facility in purpose built buildings of over 70,000 sq/ft to complement the aircraft collection.

Please note that due to the display arrangements, viewing of the automobile collection as well as the Stow, MA aircraft collection is limited to scheduled groups of 50 persons or greater by prior permission only. Please email booking@collingsfoundation.org for details

  • 1979 Porsche Indy- The factory race car that smashed all the track records before being banned.
  • 1980 Penske PC-9/Cosworth DFX- Mario Andretti's Michigan 500 winner. Ran Indy
  • 1980, Qualified second with Mario Andretti. Also driven to victory by Rick Mears at the Copa Mexico
    125. This the only car in history that has race wins with these two legendary drivers.
  • 1987 March/Buick- Rich Vogler's best Indy effort from one of the most winning sprint and midget drivers
    ever.
